Our staff has a comprehensive
understanding of dental insurance.
We strive to help you fully
utilize your dental benefits.
However, your recommended dental
treatment is NOT based on your
dental insurance benefits but
rather on the results of examining
your oral cavity. At the time
of your visit, we will present
you with your recommended treatment
by means of a printed treatment
proposal. This treatment proposal
will show the cost of your treatment
and the estimated
portion your insurance will
consider. Because most insurance
plans only provide a small amount
of coverage, our patients appreciate
knowing what their patient portion
will be. Our patients who have
Flexible Spending Account options
through their employers appreciate
the overall treatment proposals,
as it helps to manage their
Flex Account. We can also submit
a pre-authorization request
to your insurance company to
determine more accurately what
your insurance will pay of your
recommended treatment. This
enables you to know what your
overall treatment cost will
be. We are not contracted with
insurance plans because we are
about service and quality and
feel that these plans do not
allow us to provide the quality
nor the service we want to provide.
We do not want to compromise
our services nor quality by
negotiating the cost of dentistry
we place in your precious mouths
with insurance companies. As
a courtesy to you, however,
we will gladly file your dental
insurance claim. What your insurance
company does not pay of your
service will be the portion
you will need to pay.
